About me -- Hanako Iwatsuki
My name is Hanako Iwatsuki. I’m from Japan.
I’m currently living in Andersons Bay with Hugh family, but I’m going to move to another house in St Kilda with Hogan family next week. Andersons Bay is a lovely place near a beach.
I’m really enjoying in Dunedin so far. Initially I love animals and nature, so I have been interested in them in Dunedin. In here, the animals and scenery are completely different from Japan, so I get excited every time I discover them.
When I was a high school student, my favourite subject was Japanese because in this subject, I could read some interesting Japanese literature. The reason I chose this course is to improve my English skills especially speaking and writing skills, and critical thinking skills.
As I said, I love animals and nature, and to record them I started to practice photography. In addition, I like music, knitting, and reading (recently). I often do these hobbies in my free time. In contrast, I do not like study especially math, public speaking, and noisy place, So I don’t like spend a long time with people who are not very close because I feel tired mentally.
Finally, I believe that my strengths are honesty and sincerest. I hardly ever come late in classes and forget assignments. On the other hand, my weaknesses are shyness moody. I want to fix these bad points.
My goal is to get job I want (but I haven’t decided yet) and work using English.
I love animals and nature too. Did you see the rabits in wild?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I’ve never seen rabbits in wild before. It is one of things that I want to do before die.
DeleteInteresting that you like knitting. This is a favourite hobby of my wife's. I wonder who taught you to knit? Was it a family member or did you teach yourself?
ReplyDeleteDavid :-)
My mother taught me to knit! I made a scarf for the first time and gave it to my mother.
DeleteI love animals and nature just like you, Hanako and I saw some of the photos you have taken during our holiday travel which are amazing.😊
ReplyDeleteThank you! That travel was unforgettable!!!
DeleteI love animal too!! Maybe we should talk more deeply about animals.💞
ReplyDeleteYess!! Nice to meet you!
DeleteI like listening to music too. What kind of music do you like?
ReplyDeleteI like many kinds of music, but especially I like classical music and pop music in English.
DeleteI like New Zealand nature too! I'm curious what's the difference between New Zealand and Japan.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, the way people interact with others is different from Japan. But it might change again if I move to Dunedin to Auckland.
DeleteWe seem to have similar personalities. I love nature and animals, too!
ReplyDeleteI agree !! Nice to meet you;)
