My name is Hanako Iwatsuki. I’m from Japan.  I’m currently living in Andersons Bay with Hugh family, but I’m going to move to another house in St Kilda with Hogan family next week. Andersons Bay is a lovely place near a beach. I’m really enjoying in Dunedin so far. Initially I love animals and nature, so I have been interested in them in Dunedin. In here, the animals and scenery are completely different from Japan, so I get excited every time I discover them.  When I was a high school student, my favourite subject was Japanese because in this subject, I could read some interesting Japanese literature.  The reason I chose this course is to improve my English skills especially speaking and writing skills, and critical thinking skills.  As I said, I love animals and nature, and to record them I started to practice photography.  Hi, I’m Miyu TOKUMOTO from Japan. I’m 21 years old and I was born in Nara. I’m specializing in language course at university. I’m currently staying on Green Island with a lovely family, and there’s also an adorable dog named Charlie. My main goal here is to improve my conversation skills.
