Taking Responsibility -- Yiwa


         I hardly ever separated my trash because I used to think that the garbage collectors were just going to mix it all together anyway.🚮 That was actually part of a bigger problem, contributing to climate change and air pollution. 😷💨

So, I’ll start separating recyclables, hazardous waste💀, and items that can be reused.🔄 I’ll also bring my own bag when I go shopping instead of using plastic bags. 👜

These are small steps, but they can make a meaningful difference.😇

    Unfortunately, in some countries, trash are still combined even people sorted each garbage...
    But that’s a good way of thinking.

    I also think recycling is one of the most important ways to protect environment. I'll do recycle more carefully too!

    Hello, Yiwa, I didn’t sorting my trash as well when I was in Thailand. Therefore, when I came to New Zealand, I learn how to sort the trash which I realize it will make a huge benefit impact to our environment. So, I will try to keep doing it.😊

I like Dunedin for its vistas, historical buildings & vibrant cultural life. My favourite subject at high school and university was the history of art.
