The Ideal School: My Vision -- New

Education is a fundamental element for children’s development.  Many schools focus on offering traditional academic subjects to students such as a science and mathematics.  However, there are now a few schools that offer a particular type of learning to students such as study about farming, sculpture, music or surfing.  In terms of my ideal school, I think the goal for schools is to help students find what they love to do in the future and prepare them for their future careers.

My ideal school would offer a variety of subjects for students so that it would help them to find out their strengths and preferences.  These subjects would be both academic and practical subjects.  However, subjects would mainly be taught through hands-on experience or experimentation.  For example, when students learn language classes, there would mostly be conversational classes.  Moreover, there would be a counsellor who comes to school every week to offer students a therapy group talk or a private talk.  This would help to support students’ mental health, reduce their stress levels and become resilient.  Lastly, schools would offer internships to students.  They would have a chance to gain experience through being an intern in real work places.

In terms of possible problems, this kind of school would require a significant budget as it would offer various subjects to students and counsel fees.   However, if the government would provide funding for the school, this would help it to cover all necessary costs.   In addition, it would be a good return on investment because creating a competent workforce for the country would reduce unemployment rates and social problems which would result in a large amount of funds.  Moreover, the school would receive funding from campaign-raising or donators who would want to make contributions for a country’s education.

In conclusion, I believe that having an opportunity to study in different fields would be beneficial to students.  Moreover, learning by doing would also be significant to students because it would help them to fully understand what they have learned and they would be familiar with the environment that they will have to work in for the future.

  1. It is crucial that government supports the education by providing money.

  3. I really like your idea. I think in normal school, it's difficult to find students what they love. The school supporting students to experience variety of things to find out their preference is amazing!

  4. This is a well-thought-out and creative essay. You present a strong vision of an ideal school that supports students in discovering their passions and preparing for future careers. The combination of hands-on learning, mental health support, and internships shows that you understand what students need in the real world. Your argument is both practical and student-centered, which makes it very convincing.

  5. I totally agree with your vision. As I worte in my blog, I believe that hands-on experience or experimentation would help students find what they love to do in the future, too. In Jpapan, there are school counselors in each school. Are there school counselors in each school in Thailand??

  6. I really like your idea. When I was primary school student, I thought it's difficult to find me what I really like. I wish I could have the education style like your ideal school.

  7. I remember when my son, Nathan, started school in Japan he often spent time chatting with the school nurse in the 'sick bay.' I think she played the role of a counsellor for him, helping him transition from a small kindergarten where he knew the other kids & they knew him to a large school where he didn't know anyone else & he was an oddity.
