Pandemics of the Past -- A Reflection---Sao

The bubonic plague, cholera, and Spanish flu were all devastating pandemics that left significant impacts on history. It could be surprising, concerning lessons learnt, or positive changes: It indicates how effective medicine and medical treatment are. Thailand has seen outbreaks of all three diseases, resulting in many deaths and illness. On the positive side, it has resulted in medical developments, the search for treatments, and the discovery of vaccines to prevent sickness. As a result, when disasters or calamities hit, something positive emerges. I am confident that the improvements that occur following epidemics will improve the lives of humans and keep us secure from sickness.
