About Me -- Miyu Tokumoto

 Hi, I’m Miyu TOKUMOTO from Japan.

I’m 21 years old and I was born in Nara.

I’m specializing in language course at university.

I’m currently staying on Green Island with a lovely family, and there’s also an adorable dog named Charlie. My main goal here is to improve my conversation skills. Even back in Japan, I often have opportunities to interact with people from other countries, so I’d like to develop my English further and broaden my perspective.


I’m a generally positive person, though I can be a bit shy at times.

I’m really looking forward to the next four months with you!

    It is cool that you have found opportunities to interact with people from other countries back in your home country. Using English as a tool for intercultural communication will indeed widen your perspectives and ensure that you will maintain your English-language proficiency.

My name is Hanako Iwatsuki. I’m from Japan.  I’m currently living in Andersons Bay with Hugh family, but I’m going to move to another house in St Kilda with Hogan family next week. About Me -- David

My name is David Woodfield, and I live in Māori Hill in Dunedin with my wife, Patricia, our toy poodle, Neo, and our Birman, QT. I like Dunedin for its vistas, historical buildings & vibrant cultural life. My favourite subject at high school and university was the history of art. I like relaxing with a good book and a coffee in a sunny spot. The kinds of books I enjoy include biographies, explorations of Christian history and ideas, and interior design tomes. I also enjoy listening to a wide variety of music and watching romantic comedies and science fiction movies. My good point, I would say, is my creativity & my bad is leaving things to the last minute. My goal is to be the person God created me to be, one step at a time.
